Looploop v1.01 Patch Notes


Looploop v1.01 has been released, adding controller support! v1.01 is a basic patch and primarily has some bug fixes and tweaks, and a couple balance changes and reworks. Everything new in the patch is listed below. Spoiler content will be at the bottom of the list.


New:

  • Controller support has been added! To use, simply connect a controller to your device and press any button to register it. Using the keyboard or mouse will switch you back to PC controls, and vice versa for pushing controller buttons
    • Note that the game is configured to work best with the button layout of Xbox controllers (since they work best with Windows), but other controllers can also work (PS5 controllers have been confirmed to work). If buttons are not registering, the entire game can still be played with just the triggers and bumpers.
  • a Retry option has been added to the pause and death menus

Changes:

  • Cherry's Full Potential has been reworked:
    • Old: Cherries follow the cursor
    • New: Cherries detonate instantly and destroy enemy bullets
  • Enemy Bio and Trophy navigation arrows can be pushed faster, allowing for quicker scrolling

Bugs Fixed:

  • Killing the Superboss can now also unlock Kiwi
  • Upgrade Icons will no longer be hidden by the health bar
  • Weapons can now be switched during loading

Balances:

  • Sniper
    • Bullets now pierce
    • Damage: 22 > 20
    • Fire Rate: 1.1s > 1.25s
  • Super Sniper
    • Bullets now pierce
    • Damage: 22 > 20
    • Fire Rate: 1.1s > 0.6s
    • Bullet Quantity: 2 > 1
  • Iris members spawn slightly faster (2 to 3s > 1.5 to 3s)
  • Retinus got a nerf to his LOS range

Bugs Fixed:

  • The softlock caused in the Center has been fixed
  • Players will no longer be sent to the Center every run if the Negative Statue is filled
  • Loop -1 no longer has incorrectly colored floor

Balances:

  • Optum Iris members spawn faster (2 to 4s > 1.5 to 3s)
  • Optum Iris members all got small health buffs
  • Optum Pupil's bullets are slightly slower
  • Optum Corneus bullets have a higher chance to re-fire more times
  • Optum Retinus bullets are faster after rebounding
  • Optum Retinus has a slightly faster fire rate
  • Optum Retinus got a nerf to his LOS range
