Looploop v1.1 Update Notes


Looploop v1.1 has been released, bringing a major new content update! v1.1 contains new weapons, enemies, characters, and much much more. Everything new in the patch is listed below (and its quite a bit!) - Spoiler content will be at the bottom of the list.

New:

  ⭐ Four new characters with unique playstyles and abilities

  ⭐ 16 new weapons, from Ricochet Guns to Rapid Punchers

  ⭐ 10 powerful new Upgrades to make the perfect build

  ⭐ A new Upgrade Reroll system to help get exactly what you need

  ⭐ Four new enemies, some big, some even bigger

  ⭐ A mysterious new Cursed Statue... What does it do?

  ⭐ 8 new challenging Trophies to earn

  ⭐ Unlockable background options

  • Four new tracks made by various artists
  • A weak melee attack as a backup if you run out of ammo
  • Total runs and time spent tracker for each character
  • Weapons can be swapped with the scroll wheel
  • Hovering over an equipped weapon on the UI shows its name
  • Popup on death to show the build used during the run
  • Current run progress displayed above the timer
  • Option to remove corpses to help with low performance
  • The O key can be used to toggle fullscreen without pausing
  • More loading tips
  • More juice


Changes:

  ⭐ New unlocks will no longer be removed by quitting a run

  • Jammin' Out Trophy changed to Untouchable
  • Blood Blood Blood Trophy changed to include new Upgrades
  • Statues will not spawn for players who have never reached Room 5
  • Snipers have a red scope line to help line up shots
  • "Select an Upgrade" text is now animated


Bugs Fixed:

  • Swapping weapons allowed double-shooting a weapon with Pew Pew
  • Some text on the menu wasn't showing 
  • Adjusted pathfinding hitboxes for bigger enemies
  • Player collision issues after entering an Elevator
  • Retrying a run would start the player with damage if they were overlapping a bullet
  • Duration meter for Crash Landing and Fury wasn't showing correctly
  • Mr. Sneezy wasn't telegraphing his attack sometimes
  • B-Skins sometimes showed as locked when they weren't
  • SFX for equipping B-Skins were very quiet after dying
  • Sometimes the web export would not load on slower computers
  • Memory optimization (every music track used to be loaded at once oops)
  • Controller instructions weren't showing correctly in the Tutorial
  • Bullets from Kiwi's Drones were sometimes invisible
  • Grape's Dash was not affected by damage amplification


Balances:

  • Initial Ammo count increased from 180 to 220
  • Shards spawned by Scarcity are slightly easier to pick up
  • Slight nerf to Kiwi's Full Potential (More Drones are now needed to reach max fire rate)

Changes:

  • Iris Statue spawn rate increased slightly 
  • Iris members will spawn slower after activating the Iris Statue


Bugs Fixed:

  • Fixed a bug causing Null to sometimes be immortal
  • Fixed a bug where Retrying a run as Null would instantly cause damage if you had zero Shards
  • Optimizations to Loopender particles


Balances:

  • Optum Iris members no longer drop Shards
  • Iris Boss health decreased substantially but fires more often
